The Scott learning track has my part louder than the other parts so its easy to know my part. The No Scott learning track allows me to sing my part without my learning track.

Free Fallin’ Vocals Assignment

Here is the recording of Free Fallin’ from our Cottage gig on September 9, 2017: Free Fallin’ (Live)

There are  three versions of the Babe harmonies, with the first chorus being two-part harmony, the second is three-part harmony, and the fourth is four-part harmony. I sing only in the four-part harmony.

Here are the learning tracks: Harmonies Full Mix – Harmonies Vocals Only – Harmonies Scott – Harmonies Marc & Ted

Babe Vocals Assignment

Here is the recording of Babe from our Cottage gig on September 9, 2017: Babe (Live)

Here are the latest versions of the Babe harmonies, including the “ahhs” for the chorus:  Full – Vocals – Green Low Only – Green Mid Only – Kelly

Here are the Babe harmonies:

  • The full song with Joe and Kelly singing with backing vocals added (Listen or Download).
  • Just the chorus with Green Falsetto Backing Only (Listen or Download).
  • Just the chorus with Green Backing Only (Listen or Download).
  • The full song with Vocals emphasized (Listen or Download).
  • BONUS: The full song on which above is based as recorded live on May 10, 2017 (Listen or Download).

Joe is waiting to hear how I sound with the falsetto and plain singing to see which of the two parts he wants me to sing. He’d also like to hear a fuller body in my voice singing without falsetto, so I’d like to work on that.

Here is the original song by the band, Styx: Listen or Download

Heat Wave Vocals Assignment

Here are the current versions of the Heat Wave harmonies:

Joe has created mp3 learning tracks for Heat Wave, including a full mix, a mix emphasizing my part, and a mix minus my part for me to sing with. UPDATED: Joe revised the full mix, a mix emphasizing my part and a mix minus my part. UPDATED AGAIN: Joe revised the full mix, a mix emphasizing my part and a mix minus my part again.

Note: Moved Jump from Main Set to encore on April 13th because the set is a little over 45 minutes but mostly because we’d like to end with PLU so that we can thank the audience during the end of the song. If we start earlier than expected and can have a longer set than we expected, then we can insert one or both of our encore songs just before PLU in the main set.
