We were invited to participate in Long & McQuade’s Kanata location’s June recital for students because Scott is taking vocal lessons there. However, we were told that we’d have just under an hour to set up for our performance. The only way to be sure that we could set up in less than an hour would be to try it. Joe and Scott spent hours planning the setup so that we could do it as quickly as possible. Then, we rented some practice space so that we could practice setting up according to the plan. Since we had the space, why not practice our set and also invite some guests to listen? So, that’s what we did.
We had about ten invited guests watch us perform and it was gratifying to see how much they enjoyed themselves. We’re really looking forward to our Recital gig on June 16, 2018.
